Purple tissue silk 3pc suit

Fabric - Tissue silk viole with cotton lining woven with a very subtle pink threadwork
Kameez - This is a stunning kameez, it is a frock style that is a complete full circle. It is made up of lots of panels with additional inserts lower down the skirt to give it added fullness.
The front neckline and down the centre middle of the kameez has an appliquéd bandhani printed fine silk which is unembellished with gold threadwork, teardrop shaped beading, raised zardosi and masses of beadwork. The outer edge of this appliqué has a blue and gold woven brocade braid trimming it.
This wide appliqué (2.5”) carries on all round the skirt hem (front and back). It has a tie at the back for adjustment.

Pyjami - Is plain and cotton lined and bias cut – the pyjami is really long so will gather quite a bit at the ankles

Dupatta - Is made of a beautiful bandhani printed silk in jade and purple – this has a wide cream silk appliquéd trim all round which is heavily embellished.
Comments - This is a fantastic suit. It is quite old and in remarkable condition. There are no marks as such however, there are a couple of loose threads, which is more a characteristic of the fabric than a fault.
The suit is heavy as it weighs just under 2Kg.
